Jason Zhan Jia is a web savvy digital native with over five years experience in the digital marketing / communications industry. He is widely recognized as an expert in Chinese social media, consumer-generated media (CGM), Internet Word of Mouth (iWOM), digital marketing, viral marketing, interactive communications, online research & market intelligence, China Internet trends & culture, and youth digital lifestyle.

Jason currently join Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, the NO.2 worldwide independent PR agency, as the Digital Strategies Lead of its China operation.

Prior to this, he co-lead the Social Media Practice and founding the Strategy & Research Capability for Razorfish China. Before that, he was an account manager at CIC, an industry-pioneering social media monitor, research, and consulting agency in China.

Jason runs IN2marcom, a blog all about interactive and influential marketing communications in China’s digital and social media spaces. In addition, he is a contributing editor for NeochaEDGE, a daily-curated bilingual website and discovery engine dedicated to showcasing leading-edge creative content and emerging youth culture in China.

Jason holds a Bachelor Degree (with Honors) from Staffordshire University, where he majored in Business Administration.
