Jason Zhan Jia is a web savvy digital native with an extensive experience in the digital marketing / communications industry in China. He is widely recognized as an expert in Chinese social media, consumer-generated media (CGM), Internet Word of Mouth (iWOM), digital marketing, viral marketing, interactive communications, online research & market intelligence, China Internet trends & culture, and youth digital lifestyle.

Jason is founder and director of VITAMINE, a boutique China social media agency which helps brands and partners to strategize, create, implement, and measure interactive and influential digital communications across social media platforms.

Jason has a diverse experience across different marketing disciplines in the social media field, including social research analytics, social marketing, and social communication.

He was most recently the China Digital Lead of global independent PR agency Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, where he served Pirelli, Chloé, L’Oreal, Abbott, GE Healthcare, and Microsoft. Prior to that, he co-led the social influence marketing practice and drove the strategic planning initiatives for Razorfish China, where he managed a portfolio of assignments including Nike, Dior, Microsoft, and Autodesk. He has also worked as an account manager for blue chip brands like Intel, Apple, HP, Nokia, IBM, and SAP at CIC, an industry-pioneering social media monitor, research, and consulting agency in China.

Jason holds a Bachelor Degree (with Honors) from Staffordshire University, where he majored in Business Administration.
